(Updated Oct, 2023) Protocol for Appointments during this phase of emerging COVID Omicron Variants:

1.If you have tested COVID + or have been exposed to COVID cases please inform us prior to your appointment. Together we can determine whether an in person visit is appropriate. To ensure our patients, physicians and employees are protected, you (and guests) should, however not required, wear an acceptable face mask; and preferably be vaccinated for an in person office visit. Let us know prior to arriving if you are NOT vaccinated. We are available for phone consultations.

2. Any patient reporting fever, cough, loss of taste/ smell, diarrhea is responsible to make us aware that you may be COVID symptomatic 1 day ahead of any appointment. COVID is not yet over and is, in fact, on the rise.

3. DUE TO THE EMERGENCE OF NEW COVID OMICRON STRAINS, OUR STAFF WILL/ MAY WEAR FACE MASKS. WE HIGHLY SUGGEST THAT ALL PATIENTS, GUESTS AND VISITORS WEAR AN APPROPRIATE FASK MASK.

Telehealth Consultations: In the wake of recent stresses to our healthcare system from the Corona virus threat, we understand you have many questions. Our office is experiencing a high volume of calls. Please be patient as we address each and every question. Should your call or call on your behalf require an extended amount of time we will be billing your insurance for a nominal telephone encounter or a telehealth encounter fee similar to a traditional office visit. By agreeing to a telephone or video encounter in lieu of of an in-person visit, you acknowledge potential risk of unsecured transmission of your information and you may have a financial responsibility as determined by your contract with your insurance.
